UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a deleted form of cv-c that lacks the SAM domain. The protein is tagged at the C-terminal end with Venus.
Expressing cv-cΔSAM.UAS.Venus under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU results in disrupted planar polarity in the embryonic epidermis, while expression under the control of Scer\GAL469B leads to morphological aberrations in embryonic salivary glands.
