E28term
Reported as a stop codon at amino acid 28 leading to a 27aa Graf protein. Site of nucleotide substitution in mutant inferred by FlyBase curator based on reported amino acid change.
GrafCR57/GrafCR57 embryos do not show the polygonal F-actin organization in early stages of cellularization; instead there is premature contractile ring formation during early cellularization and enhanced ring constriction in mid and late cellularization, with the nuclei displaying a bottleneck appearance. Laser ablation experiments show increased contractile ring tension/contractility (increased displacement and initial recoil velocity). The slow phase of furrow extension is extended and the fast phase starts at a later time point.
GrafCR57 has actomyosin contractile ring | maternal effect | embryonic stage 5 phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR/RhoGEF2HMS01118
GrafCR57 has actomyosin contractile ring | maternal effect | embryonic stage 5 phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR/RokRNAi.UAS
GrafCR57/GrafCR57 is a suppressor of actomyosin contractile ring | maternal effect | embryonic stage 5 phenotype of RhoGEF2HMS01118, Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR
GrafCR57/GrafCR57 is a suppressor | partially of actomyosin contractile ring | maternal effect | embryonic stage 5 phenotype of RokRNAi.UAS, Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR
GrafCR57 is rescued by Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR/GrafUASp.GFP
GrafCR57 is not rescued by Scer\GAL4VP16.nanos.UTR/GrafΔRhoGAP.UASp.EGFP
