Description

The RMCE cassette in the TI{CRIMIC.TG4.1}TaceCR02267-TG4.1 insertion has has been replaced with a 'Double Header' (DH) trapping cassette (contains two independent trapping modules oriented in opposite directions). The cassette is in 'protein-trap' orientation relative to Tace, which is predicted to results in the Tace coding sequence being tagged with a multi-tag cassette that includes EGFP.

      Tace protein is highly enriched in the brain and ventral nerve cord from stage 13 on. It is detected in most neurons. It is expressed in a small subset of repo-positive glia but not in midline glia. It is detected in the soma but not in the axons.
