Description
Description
The phospholipid transporting type IV P-ATPases are flippases that translocate phospholipids against concentration gradient from one side of a membrane to the other. This lipid shuttling forms new membrane structures, in particular vesicles. (Adapted from PMID:18439418 and PMID:26240149).
