Negative regulators of Wnt-TCF (canonical Wnt) signaling down-regulate the pathway, resulting in the attenuation of transcriptional regulation mediated by β-catenin (arm).
Negative regulators of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway include Destruction Complex components which, in the absence of Wnt signaling, constitutively suppress the pathway by promoting cytoplasmic β-catenin (arm) degradation.
