Description
Description

Non-receptor tyrosine kinase-like (TKL) kinases are a diverse group of intracellular serine-threonine protein kinases with sequence similarity to tyrosine kinases (TK) but lacking TK-specific motifs.

Notes on Group

Ilk is predicted to be a pseudokinase based on sequence analysis in FBrf0209106.

In the MAPK (ERK) cascade, ksr acts as a MAP-kinase scaffold, facilitating the phosphorylation and activation of Dsor1 by Raf (FBrf0144882).
