Description
Description
Pyruvate kinases catalyze the transfer of phosphate group, usually from ATP, to a pyruvate substrate molecule.
Notes on Group

The are six paralogous genes encoding pyruvate kinase in D. melanogaster: expression of PyK is ubiquitous, whereas expression of CG7362, CG2964, CG11249, CG12229 and CG7069 is restricted to the testis.
