Description
Description
GPI-anchor transamidase belongs to MEROPS family C13. It is the catalytic subunit of the GPI transamidase complex that mediates GPI anchoring in the endoplasmic reticulum by replacing the protein's C-terminal GPI-attachment signal peptide with a preassembled GPI. (Adapted from FBrf0241969.)
