5-HT7 transcripts are detected in RNA from adult heads but not bodies.
5-HT7 transcripts are detected throughout development with a peak in 16-24hr embryos. They are found in adult heads but not bodies. In embryos, expression starts in stage 16 and is restricted to the CNS. 5-HT7 transcripts are expressed in lateral rows of cells on each side of the midline and at a low level in midline cells.
