FlyBase curator comment: 'Glu-RI' renamed to 'GluRIA' for the following reasons: i) It makes sense to give this gene an 'A' suffix to match the 'B' suffix already used for the related gene 'GluRIB'. This follows the nomenclature used in FBrf0130145 and is consistent with the naming convention used for GluRII genes; ii) The hyphen is unnecessary and removing it matches the nomenclature of other GluR genes.
