D2, Corkscrew Interacting Protein-D2, Cy3-23, CIP-D2, anon-D2
pericentrosomal protein which, along with Rab11, is involved in membrane trafficking and actin remodeling during membrane furrow formation during cellularization - involved in endosomal-mediated membrane delivery to the site of furrow formation

AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Annotated transcripts do not represent all possible combinations of alternative exons and/or alternative promoters.
Low-frequency RNA-Seq exon junction(s) not annotated.

nuf transcripts are detected in 0-3 hr embryos.

A major band of 95 kD and minor bands of 82 and 67 kD are detected in Western blots of 0-3 hr embryos. Following phosphatase treatment, only a single 67 kD band is observed. During late syncytial divisions, nuf protein is highly concentrated at the centrosomes during prophase, and is cytoplasmic during other stages of the nuclear cycle. nuf protein is also concentrated at the centrosomes during interphase of nuclear cycle 14, and during cellularization.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
