      Proper targetting of pck gene product to the pleated septate junctions in the tracheal system depends on Nrx-IV and cora but not Fas3.

      Maternal expression of pck is not essential for normal development or viability.

      Mutation in pck alters tracheal tube size in embryos without affecting other aspects of tracheal development including primary branch budding and outgrowth or branch fusion.
