AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

CanB2 is widely expressed in the adult brain, optic lobe, and retina.
CanB and CanB2 have over 98% amino acid identity. A CanB2 probe detects two transcripts, 2.3 and 1.6 kb, in Northern blots of pupal, larval, and adult stages. The genomic sequence of CanB2 is consistent with its being the 1.6 kb transcript, but further evidence is necessary. The 1.6 kb transcript is found in pupal, larval, and adult stages, with highest levels in in whole adults and adult heads. The 2.3 kb transcript is found in all developmental stages examined, with lower levels in larvae and early pupae.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
