Comment: reported as dorsal/lateral sensory complexes
lbm is expressed specifically by motor neurons, such as aCC, RP1-RP5, the three U neurons, and the VUM neurons. It is also expressed transiently and at lower levels in some peripheral sensory neurons.
lbm protein, a cell surface protein, is transiently expressed along the entire length of motor axons, including their growth cones and presynaptic terminals. The protein is present in late embryogenesis, but disappears by third larval instar.

Please Note FlyBase no longer curates genomic clone accessions so this list may not be complete
Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
