Comment: bilateral stripes, 1-2 cells wide
Sema1b transcripts are first expressed in early stages of oogenesis where staining is observed in ovarioles and nurse cells. In early embryos, staining is uniform. At stage 5, Sema1b transcripts are observed in two lateral stripes of 1-2 cells wide. These stripes meet at the ventral surface at stage 8 as a result of ventral furrow formation and may be mesectodermal cells. In later embryonic stages, staining is primarily in the ectoderm.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
