Acp62F is transferred to the female at the time of mating and persists for about 2-3 hours in the female reproductive tract. Acp62F enters the female hemolymph. It is detected in the uterus, sperm mass, spermathecum, seminal receptacle, oviduct, ovary, mature oocyte, and eggs.
