The N-terminal kinase domain produces inositol polyphosphates. The C-terminal acid phosphatase-like domain binds inositol polyphosphates and negatively regulates their accumulation. The C-terminal domain reduces the amount of inositol pyrophosphates in a dose-dependent manner in vitro.
