Additional Descriptive Data
miple2 transcript is expressed at high levels in the endoderm from embryonic stage 11 through the end of embryogenesis, and in lower levels in the mesoderm at stage 11. At embryonic stage 14, miple2 is expressed in an unidentifed group of cells on the lateral side of the embryo. At embryonic stage 16, miple2 transcript is expressed in the midline cells of the ventral nerve cord. miple2 transcript is also maternally contributed to the embryo.
