During embryonic cycles 10-14 protein was detected distributes around the cortex during mitotic divisions but concentrated in the nuclei during interphase. In later embryos postcellularization protein was detected in the cytoplasm of mitotic cells and primarily in the nuclei of interphase cells. No substantial colocalization with Septins was observed. During oogenesis
