Fkbp59 transcripts are detected throughout development on northern blots with peaks in early embryos, first and second instar larvae, and adult females. They are detected by in situ hybridization in three glands in embryos. They are detected at stage 13 in garland cell precursors and at stage 15 in the garland cells. Fkbp59 transcripts are detected at stage 13 in the oenocytes and at later stages in the lymph glands.
