Named 'MCTS1' ('Malignant T cell amplified sequence 1') after the human homolog. FlyBase curator comment: With agreement from the authors, the current HGNC symbol of 'MCTS1' was used for this gene in FlyBase, rather than the 'MCT-1' symbol used in the paper, as a gene with a very similar symbol ('Mct1', FBgn0023549) already exists.
