Ncc69 is expressed in subperineurial glial cells. The only other prominent expression of Ncc69 is in the dorsal median cells of the ventral ganglion.

During embyronic stages 9-13, expression is seen in the developing gut and nervous system. In later stages, expression is predominantly in the foregut and anterior portion of the embryo.
