    TIM17 FAMILY -
The Tim17 family are paralogous subunits of the core TIM23 complex. The TIM23 complex mediates import of mitochondrial presequence-containing proteins into the mitochondrial matrix and inner membrane. Tim17 is an inner membrane spanning subunit that forms a complex with the channel subunit, Tim23. (Adapted from PMID:32074073.)
    Protein Function (UniProtKB)

    Model Confidence:
    • Very high (pLDDT > 90)
    • Confident (90 > pLDDT > 70)
    • Low (70 > pLDDT > 50)
    • Very low (pLDDT < 50)

AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
