Comment: reported as dorsal trunk specific anlage
Comment: reported as dorsal/lateral sensory complexes
In embryos, dnd protein is observed in the cytoplasm of tracheal fusion cells. It is found in all tracheal fusion cells including dorsal trunk (from stage 11 on), lateral trunk (from stage 13 on), dorsal branch (from stage 14 on) and ganglionic branch (from stage 14 on) fusion cells. The order of expression in the different tracheal branch types matches the order in which they fuse. Expression is also observed in sensory cells.

Please Note FlyBase no longer curates genomic clone accessions so this list may not be complete
Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
polyclonal
Source for identity of: dnd CG6560
FlyBase curator comment: the insertion in the "d10234" Exelixis line (P{XP}CG6678d10234) was originally assigned to the CG6560 gene in FBrf0179797, resulting in the "CG6560d10234" (FBal0161143) allele. However, FBrf0184340 shows that the insertion is actually within CG6678.
