OS9 immunoreactivity is observed in a punctate distribution near the cuticle of the adult antennal segment 3 and maxillary palps, coinciding with the locations of olfactory sensory organs. Colocalization with Mab22C10 strongly suggests that OS9 is expressed in olfactory receptor neurons.
