dmp
homolog of Collagen XV/XVIII, a matrix protein that can be proteolytically cleaved to release Endostatin, an antiangiogenesis signaling factor - required for normal calcium channel abundance, presynaptic calcium influx, and neurotransmitter release - functions in motor axon pathfinding

AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

Mp expression is observed starting at embryonic stage 16 in the dorsal vessel, aorta, filzkorper, central nervous system, especially in the neuropil region. No isoform-specific expression was observed.
In late embryos, Mp is specifically localized at the heart lumen, but not at the cardioblast basal domain. The Mp antibody does not detect staining at the aorta domain, nor in the pair of ostia cells. Importantly, Mp was only detected in cardioblasts at the stage of tube formation, and not in earlier stages.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
