Ras-like GTPase activating proteins are an evolutionary-related group of Ras GAPs that promote GTP hydrolysis by the Ras subfamily of the Ras GTPases. (Adapted from FBrf0229300).

Probable GTPase-activating protein, which may act as a negative regulator for some member of the Ras family. They decrease the signaling activity of Ras by stimulating its intinsic GTPase activity, thereby lowering the levels of GTP-bound, active Ras (By similarity).
