Additional comments FlyBase Curator comment: "Elongation factor 4A (Ef4A)" (
FBgn0043346 ) existed as a separate (sequence unlocalized) gene in FlyBase through to the
FB2010 _06 release. The gene was originally created through curation of
FBrf0128367 , in which it was associated with the 'EP2317' insertion. However, this association was incorrect and the proposed gene symbol/name was therefore inappropriate. The gene associated with 'EP2317' is in fact
CG9932 , and the data previously captured under 'Ef4A' has now been transferred to
CG9932 .
