FlyBase curator comment: CG4699 was first named 'NSL1' in this 2006 paper and this has been the most popular symbol in the literature since then.

Other Comments

wah mutants display neuromuscular junction overgrowth. The same phenotype occurs following dsRNA-mediated genetic interference of wah.
