AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Low-frequency RNA-Seq exon junction(s) not annotated.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.

Acn is inactivated by cleavage at aspartate[527].
Mutants show a mild reduction in eye colour and a reduction in trafficking of proteins to lysosomes.
Located between coordinates -72.3 and -68.1.
Variably late lethal; death occurs at larval l(2)37Ba<up>2</up>, or pupal <up>l(2)37Ba2, l(2)37Ba4, l(2)37Ba8, l(2)37Ba9</up> stage with pharate adults; l(2)37Ba2 produces some adults, which are male sterile or female sterile; l(2)37Ba4 produces many adults, which are male or female sterile; l(2)37Bafs1 is a normally viable, female-sterile allele. Melanotic tumors noted in l(2)37Ba4 and l(2)37Ba8; pharate adults display incompletely developed abdominal cuticle in l(2)37Ba2, l(2)37Ba4 and l(2)37Ba8 (Wright, 1987).
The gene is named based on its homology to mammalian "Acinus".
