RNAi screen using dsRNA made from templates generated with primers directed against this gene results in decreased γ-tubulin staining of the centrosome and spindle and the formation of an aberrantly long spindle when assayed in S2 cells in the presence of
Cdc27 dsRNA. This phenotype is not observed without
Cdc27 dsRNA.
Identified as a potential component of the
hh signalling pathway in a genome-wide RNAi screen. dsRNA made from templates generated with primers directed affects the extent of expression of a
hh signaling reporter construct in Clone 8 cells.
