Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.

The annotation for mir-276a has been changed in release 5.31 of the genome annotation, so that instead of representing a mature miRNA it now represents the precursor stem loop pre-miRNA. Thus the separate annotations (CR33584 and CR33585) which previously each represented one of the two mature miRNAs made from the mir-276a stem loop precursor have been converted into a single annotation (CR43001).
mir-276a is required in the mushroom body for conditioned olfactory long-term memory and in R2/R4m subtypes of ellipsoid body neurons for naive olfactory avoidance.
New annotation (CR33585) in release 4.1 of the genome annotation.
New annotation (CR33584) in release 4.1 of the genome annotation.
Given the name "rosa", after one of Pavlov's dogs.
