AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

None of the polypeptides share 100% sequence identity.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
Source for merge of: CG17922 Cncβ
Source for identity of: CngB CG17922
FBrf0102034 refers to, but doesn't identify, a Dmel CNG beta subunit as 'Cncβ'. This is almost certainly CG17922 because: i) the C. elegans ortholog is stated as 'tax-4' in FBrf0102034, and OrthoDB says CG17922 is the the tax-4 ortholog; ii) a later paper (FBrf0149151) identifies the CNG B subunit as CG17922; iii) a BLAST using human CNGB1 as the query gives CG17922 as the clear top hit. Using 'CngB' as the FlyBase symbol for the sake of consistency in gene nomenclature of the CNG family.
