Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
dsRNA made from templates generated with primers directed against this gene tested in RNAi screen for effects on Kc167 and S2R+ cell morphology.

Complementation data suggests that "Ubc87F" and "AT76-2A" are different genes, but this conflicts with Northern blot data.
Source for merge of CG9602 BcDNA:GH25305 was a shared cDNA ( date:030728 ).
Comparison of molecular map in Fig 2A of FBrf0125124 and GBrowse (R5.57) shows that 'UBC'/'Ubc87Fb' corresponds to 'CG9602'. The 'Ubc87F' gene mentioned in FBrf0110697/FBrf0111604 also corresponds to 'CG9602' based on cytological location, stated orthology, and stated molecular function.
