Comments concerning this interaction

Source was cell extract of S2R+ cell line; bait produced from transfected construct; prey produced from transfected construct.

wts coimmunoprecipitates with Mer but not ex in this assay.

The C-terminus of Mer inhibits the interaction with wts and presumably regulates Mer activity.

Mer promotes membrane association of wts.

The interaction of wts with full length Mer is enhanced by treatment with drugs that disrupt the actin cytoskeleton (C3, Latrunculin B).

Comments concerning this interaction

Source was cell extract of S2R+ cell line; bait produced from transfected construct; prey produced from transfected construct.

The interaction of wts with the Mer FERM domain is inhibited by co-transfection of a separate construct bearing the Mer C-terminus (aa 375-635).
