Description
Cloned cDNAs prepared from polyadenylated RNA isolated from adult male testis. The strain used was not the iso-1 sequenced strain.

Sample preparation
A stem-cell-enriched testis library made from adult males overexpressing a UAS-unpaired transgene (P{UAS-os.C})in germ cells from the nos-vp16 Gal4 driver (P{GAL4::VP16-nos.UTR}). The UAS-unpaired transgenic flies were in a y,w genetic background and the nos-vp16 Gal4 driver were in a w background. Additionally there was a UAS-gfp transgene (possibly P{UAS-GFP.S65T}) recombined onto the nosGAL4 chromosome. RNA was isolated from hand dissected testes from 0-3 day old males. RNA kindly provided by the lab of Dr.Margaret Fuller.
Collection preparation
cDNA directionally cloned directly into EcoRI/XhoI-digested pOTB7 plasmid. cDNAs were transformed into DH5-alpha TonA.
