Transcriptome represented as frequency of strand-specific reads along genome (see GBrowse presentation; data in wiggle format); this collection is composed of uniquely aligned reads. Sample preparation	Newly eclosed flies were kept at 25 degrees C for 4 days. Aged, mated flies were transferred to empty glass vials and the temperature was rapidly decreased to 0 degrees C; the flies were then held at 0 degrees C for 2 hours. After the cold treatment flies were transferred to fresh food vials and kept at 25 degrees C for a 30-minute recovery period. Flies were then flash frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80 degrees C prior to RNA preparations. See report for modENCODE_mRNA-Seq_treatments for information on RNA isolation.
