Description
Short sequencing reads of cDNA prepared from polyadenylated RNA isolated from third instar larvae exposed to ethanol (2.5% for 3 hours). Transcriptome represented as frequency of strand-specific reads along genome (see GBrowse presentation; data in wiggle format); this collection is composed of uniquely aligned reads.

Third instar larvae were cultured on food supplemented with 2.5% EtOH for 3 hours; 4.7% lethality was observed. Survivors were flash frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80 degrees C prior to RNA preparations. See report for modENCODE_mRNA-Seq_treatments for information on RNA isolation.
