Aubrey,
Here is a load of stuff that MA and I have just gone through:
New alleles:
rkKe1 PM allele from Kerbiniou P strain, discovered by Shelton
35BbAM10 .. call this 35Bb10 with AM10 as synonym. On Df(2L)b74c6,
which was caffeine + gamma ray induced by Alexandrov.
35Bbk11524 from Kiss collection, mapped here
l(2)35BfQL53 on BicCQL53, ref Schupbach and Weischaus 1991 Gen
 129:1119 , mapped here
Su(H)E86 isolated and mapped by Cathy Shea (MIT), photoreceptor axon
projection defects in optic lobe of 3rd instar larvae. (I don't know how it
was induced.)
Su(H)1356 ry+ P insert from Delattre et al. 1995 Genetics 141:1407
l(2)35BgPI2 PM allele from Shelton, using PI2 strain
rdGJ3 from Glynnis Johnson (this lab), don't know how it was induced.
gftGR18 on T(Y;2)TE35B-18 (gamma)
esgflg: esgfleabag = fleabag, from Alan Shirras, Lancaster, PM induced
from Athens 77Q strain
l(2)35DfHL58 reference Schupbach and Weischaus 1986 Dev Biol 113:443 ,
Table 5 Class 2Di - Tiny eggs - failure in transport. HL58/35Df- escapers
are fs and have small bristles.
tweDTD22 associated with T(2;4)DTD22
fzy8 on Scorv16
fs(2)35Ec no alleles, overlapping deletion phenotype
These are leaky fs: RA5/el28, TE35B-2, TE35B-13, Scorv10, Scorv14,
TE35D-24, A246, nBR120, pk-Drv2, pk-Drv3
These are completely fs: RA5/Scorv7, TE35BC-8, TE35D-3, TE35D-11, TE35D-17,
TE35D-5, TE35D-12, nco4LD6R
fs(2)35Ed no alleles, overlapping deletion phenotype
leaky fs: RM5/Sco-7
fs: RM5/TE35D-6, TE35D-2, TE35D-14
Df(2L)TE35D-4 broken in stc; should be in FBrf0085996
needs an stc allele name - stcTE35D4
Cheers,
John

Aubrey,
Various things are coming out of our check on Adh region stuff in prep for
Gerry's visit. Here's a start:
kuzIK5. IK5 is an allele of kuz (=34Da), not 35Da
l(2)k05224 recently mapped genetically and molecularly to Sos
l(2)k06321 recently mapped molecularly to Sos
l(2)k05605 recently mapped genetically and molecularly to l(2)35Dg
rk84b1 induced at the same time as b84b1, gamma
wb91g2 induced at the same time as osp91g2, EMS
l(2)k05612 wb allele
l(2)k00805 wb allele
l(2)k13507 wb allele

Ele.
This is the story:
TE35B-14 and TE35B-4 are 2 inversions derived from TE35B, so they
both break in noc. -14 breaks in 42F, just proximal of nec (necrotic), -4
breaks in pk. The recombinant In(2LR)TE35B-14LTE35B-4R carries 3
copies of w+, 1 on the left break and 2 on the right and is deleted for
nec. The stock has a zeste eye-colour in a zeste1 mutant background. We
selected for red eyed derivatives of this and made stocks. One of these
had lost the 2 copies from TE35B-4R and we called it SW250 (spontaneous
white) - it had (has) a dominant prickle phenotype. We then foolishly
made gamma-ray induced revertants of pkD. There are ~12 of these. I
will send you what I know about them soon.
