Comments: I was designing pcr primers to CG6530 and noticed that the sequence
between CG6530 and CG6536 is
practically identicle. This includes the intronic region. The surrounding
genomice
sequence is different. It is not unlikely that they are duplications--most of
the
G-protein coupled receptors are found as pairs. But for all of the first
intron and
possiblely the second to be identical--even after a duplication event--is
highly unlikely.
