All mapping information is for Release 4 of the genome sequence. There should be three files in total. release4_dels_flybase.out release4_insertions_flybase.out release4_made_confirm_genetic_flybase.out Definitions: in release4_made_confirm_genetic_flybase.out 'confirm' means confirmed by 3-step PCR confirmation as shown in http://www.drosdel.org.uk/del_confirm.php. 'genetic' means confirmed by lack of complementation to a known lethal mutation predicted to fall between the progenitor insertions. All aberrations in release4_made_confirm_genetic_flybase.out should be represented as 'Deficiency' as opposed to 'Potential Deficiency'. These are either those lines which are confirmed by both PCR and genetic means, or lines that have been deposited in Szeged. Notes: In these files '5-' and '-3' lines correspond to P{RS5} and P{RS3} insertions, respectively.
