The following stocks will soon be available from Bloomington:
  dyn-p25Z4556 cn1 bw1/CyO
  l(2)35FgZ2416 cn1 bw1/CyO
  ms(2)35DjZ4096 cn1 bw1/CyO
  ms(2)35DjZ5373 cn1 bw1/CyO
These 'Z' alleles are from the 'Zuker' collection. They were mapped to Adh region initially by Dan Lindsley and fine-mapped by me.
ms(2)Z4556 failed to complement Df(2L)A400, Df(2L)64j, Df(2L)b80k, dyn-p254 and dyn-p258.
Transhets were male-sterile and for A400 and 64j were observed to have short thoracic bristles.
ms(2)Z2416 failed to complement Df(2L)RN2, Df(2L)RA5, Df(2L)cact-255rv64 and l(2)35Fgk08106a.
Transhets were male-sterile.
ms(2)Z2416 complemented chif1.
ms(2)Z4096 failed to complement Df(2L)r10, Df(2L)A48, Df(2L)TE35B-54, Df(2L)nBR130, Df(2L)TE35D-11, Df(2L)el80f1, Df(2L)ED1056 and ms(2)35DjZ5373.
Transhets were male-sterile.
ms(2)Z4096 complemented Df(2L)Scorv19, Df(2L)do-1, Df(2L)RI1, sna1, snary40, sna5 and lace2.
ms(2)Z5373 failed to complement Df(2L)nBR130, Df(2L)r10 and ms(2)35DjZ4096.
Transhets were male-sterile.
ms(2)Z5373 and ms(2)Z4096 are male-sterile alleles of a previously unidentified locus, that we have named ms(2)35Dj. By deletion mapping it is located between snail and lace.
