The genomic coordinate for PBac{WH}wrapperf02069 (FBti0042079) is wrong. It's listed as 2R:18 ,731,988..18,731,988 +. It should be 2R: 18267956 (R5) according to a 2004 analysis by Roger Hoskins and Joe Carlson. Kathy tracked down the problem and presented some information, which is generally consistent with the 2R: 18267956 (R5) coordinate. The correspondence is copied below.

The wrong insertion coordinates are attributed to FBrf0184340.
This appears to be the original submission, from a file dated 4/13/2005.
The two flanking sequences, CZ484566 and CZ484567, submitted by Roger are in the right ballpark, but they don't give quite the same answer which is probably why their alignment isn't being used for the location of this insertion. When I blast these two I get 18,267,995 and 18,267,920, respectively.
If you BLAST the two sequences in the insertion entry, they map to the wrapper gene. This is consistent with the original Exelixis mapping to 2R:18267702 and the early GDP mapping to 18267956. Something happened with the R5 flank data to put it at 18731988.
The early mapping must be right, because Exel7173 was made to give a w- Df with the WH element in the plus orientation to the left of the XP element in the minus orientation. If f02069 were at 18731988, then it would be to the right of d03821 and the Df screen wouldn't have worked.
