The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Amy Cash and Justen Andrews, Indiana University. Four intragenic deletions were made using FLP-FRT recombination and characterized by the ‘hybrid PCR’ approach described by Parks et al. (FBrf0175003). CG63301 was generated from the progenitor insertions PBac{RB}CG6330e00094 and P{XP}d05561. It has the R5 breakpoints 3R:22779355 ;22784408 with predicted cytology 97D10;97D11. The 3R:22784408 insertion site of P{XP}d05561 is the R5 coordinate corresponding to an R3 coordinate provided to the Bloomington Stock Center by Exelixis, Inc. The recombinant insertion associated with the intragenic deletion is P+PBac{XP5.RB3}CG63301. Females and males are homozygous viable. Homozygous females are fertile. Df(3R)ED6235/CG63301 females are fertile. Homozygous and hemizygous male fertility were not tested. P5CDh11 was generated from the progenitor insertions PBac{WH}CG7145f04633 and PBac{RB}CG7145e00574. It has the R5 breakpoints 3L:21830905 ;21833736 with predicted cytology 78F4;78F4. The recombinant insertion associated with the intragenic deletion is PBac{RB3.WH3}P5CDh11 . Homozygotes and P5CDh11/Df(3L)BSC450 flies are lethal. CG76091 was generated from the progenitor insertions PBac{WH}CG7609f06205 and PBac{RB}CG7609e00989. It has the R5 breakpoints 3R:25569652 ;25570975 with predicted cytology 99B10;99B10. The recombinant insertion associated with the intragenic deletion is PBac{RB5.WH5}CG76091. Homozygous females and males are viable and fertile. CG72201 was generated from the progenitor insertions PBac{WH}CG7220f00816 and PBac{RB}CG7220e02906. It has the R5 breakpoints 2R:6619146 ;6623442 with predicted cytology 47B7;47B9. The recombinant insertion associated with the intragenic deletion is PBac{RB3.WH3}CG72201. Homozygotes are lethal.
