This text describes putative phosphatases in D.mel for which there is currently no published literature (June 2015).
D.mel Alkaline phosphatase 4 (Alp4, FBgn0016123) related genes; putative alkaline phosphatase genes:

All have sequence features matching InterPro Alkaline phosphatase protein signature (IPR001952, IPR017850, IPR017849). Except for CG5361, human orthology predictions from OrthoDB are with alkaline phosphatase isoforms.

CG15385 (FBgn0031397) has sequence features matching Interpro Histidine phosphatase superfamily, clade-2 (IPR000560)/Venom acid phosphatase Acph-1 (IPR029630) families, but does not share sequence identity other predicted acid phosphatase genes in D.mel. Closest alignment with human gene: 2-phosphoxylose phosphatase 1 (24% identity, E-value 7e-31).
