	Tandem arrays of T-type Dtri\P-elements are detected in D.tristis. (Hagemann et al., 1996) Transposable elements (TEs) from D.melanogaster are also found in species of the obscura group. Dtri\P-element shows close sequence similarity to the D.melanogaster homolog. (de Frutos et al., 1992)
