Drives expression in the wing disc in a wide band in the center of the wing pouch, aligned with the A/P axis, in the wing hinge primordium, and in the alula anlage. In the eye disc, drives expression at the dorsal and ventral margins of the main epithelium, and in the retinal basal glia. In the leg discs, drives expression in an anterior stripe in the dorsal compartment, overlapping the region of dpp expression. Drives a wedge-shaped region of expression along the ventral margin of the antenna disc. Drives expression at the segment boundaries of the abdominal tergites during pupal stages.
