Detailed Description
Statement Reference The ability of bi[md653] to act as an enhancer of the sd[E3] mutant phenotype is background dependent. (Dworkin et al., 2009) Homozygotes/hemizygotes have a delta-like wing phenotype and show loss of the central wing pouch. Heterozygotes show a significant effect on wing centroid size (using Fisher\'s method for combining probabilities). Heterozygotes show a direct effect on the shape of the wing. (Dworkin and Gibson, 2006) Flies have a weak Notch-like phenotype in the wing. (Enerly et al., 2002)
