Dataset

A set of mutant stocks derived by insertional mutagenesis using the P-element construct P{lacW}; most lines have a lethal or sterile phenotype. The P{lacW} construct carries a w[+mC] mini-white visible marker, Ecol\lacZ enhancer trap sequences, and bacterial sequences that allow plasmid rescue (FBrf0049800).
Insertion lines from this collection were assessed for inclusion in the Gene Disruption Project collection.

Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

FlyBase curator comment: The sequence accession record G01316 includes the description \'fruit fly STS Dm2137 clone l(2)k14423\' however the sequence stated in G01316 BLASTs to the heix gene, not l(2)35Df which has been shown genetically to correspondThe actual flanking sequence is:GCGCTGCTTTTTGCCTGATAGAAGCTGCCAATATATTATTACTATATATATATATACATGTTATTAGTCTTCGAATTAAATTCGAATATACCAATCATATTTCCATAATAAAGTACAACATAATTTCTAACTATTATATTTTTTTTTCTTTTTTTGAACTAATTCAAAAATAGCTTAATTTCCCCTCAAAATAGTCAGATGGTCTGCACTGACGATGGTCGGCAGTATCGATAACCATGTCTATCGCGTTATCGGGCCTTCACATGTTTTGCGGCGTGCGTTGAAATAGTTCGTAAAAA
Accession G01316 appears to be erroneously identified as l(2)k14423.
