hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
The frequency of leg-to-wing transdetermination caused by expression of wg[Act5C.PS] in clones during the mid-second larval instar is dominantly suppressed by Sec61β[07214].
Homozygous embryos have similar cuticle defects to Sec61β14448 homozygotes. Embryos derived from homozygous germ-line clones show poor cuticle development. Sec61β07214/Sec61βk07836 escapers show defects in leg development.
Lethality is rescued by Sec61βTub.PV.
Germline clones produce eggs with poor cuticle development. Paternally rescued eggs exhibit head and tail defects.
