Scer\GAL4^50y drives expression exclusively in sensory neurons of femoral chordotonal organs. Expression is restricted to a set of about 12 sensory somata exclusively in the chordonal organ; the associated axons project through the main leg nerve branch and terminate in one anterior and one posterior target area in within the leg neuropil of each thoracic neuromere.
